“Everything Everything” by Nicola Yoon is about a girl and boy who find love in extraordinary way. The girl, Madeline Whittier is an 18-year-old with a sickness called immunodeficiency that makes her allergic to everything and because of this is can’t go outside. The only two people who have been around are her mother who is her doctor and her nurse, Carla. This has stopped her from having a life like other kids her age. Everything changes when a new family moves into the neighborhood. With that family is a boy her age named Olly. They start talking through sticky notes and text message because he figures out that she never comes outside. Her mother starts to notice the changes in Madeline and tells her to stay away from him. Madeline decides to take a chance with life and follow her heart. I am really glad that l took a chance with this book because even thought her mother kept her away from the world, Olly found a way to show her everything that she was missing out on. At the end, she found herself through it all. If you are looking for a book about young love, finding yourself and learning to put your heart first, this is a book I recommend. I rate “Everything Everything” a 95% out of 100.
